Beneath the things said in the video, here is a list of the latest results of the break strength tests:
- Lynx 2: White Magic 28kN (gives at 31kN an effiency of 90,3%)
- Lynx 2: Slackpro/Mantra 32kN ( gives at 42kN an effiency of 76,2%)
- Zilla 2 White Magic 30,5kN (gives at 31kN an effiency of 98,4%)
- Zilla 2 Slackpro/Mantra 36kN (gives at 42kN an effiency of 85,7%)
- Lynx 2 was still intact after 32kN but showed deformation/bending beyond 25kN , even the quickpin was removable
- Zilla 2 showed no signs of deformation or other harms after seeing over 37kN of load = fully intact ( we are very proud of)
- Lynx 2 features 22mm main roller of Al 7075, stainless steel sideplates, 10mm steel quickpin
- Zilla 2 features 36mm main roller of AL7075, cnc-machined sideplates of Al7075, 16mm steel quickpin
- lower efficiency of SlackPro/Mantra Webbing is due to thickness and build style of webbing construction
And now the most important question - When will the tools be available in the Shop for order?
- Lynx 2.0 edit: the Lynx 2.0 is now available (Stefan 21.11.2011)
- Zilla 2.0 in around 2 weeks (we are sorry, but its an evident truth that every supplier gives to much optimistic delivery dates - and as we have a 3-party supply chain - things can run out very quickly....we keep you informed!)
Best Regards - Stefan and Damian
(Ps: sorry for the funny reallyreallys....free spontaneous spoken in foreign language...next time it will be better ; )
