Landcruising personally

Landcruising is initiated and pushed by 2 passionated "slackliners of the first hour" in Germany - Damian Jörren and Stefan Junghannss.  Early on we discovered the potential of slacklining in its multifaceted character.

First we began on a sportive level to search for new challenges. We did many first sends of various highline, waterline and longline milestones. In the same time we realized the wish to spread our vision of  slacklining and to implement our own product ideas. With this in mind, we founded together the Landcruising Slackline Solutions  in autumn 2007.

"I come out of a very  active, sporty  and nature-loving family. I started in 1992 with the traditional climbing in the saxon sandstone rocks.  My first contact with a slackline was in 1999. A note in a  climbing training book drew my attention.  I took my first first steps on classic tubular and later on some webbing ala home depot.

I started my more intensive relationship to slackline in the spring of 2006. I sended my first highline in autumn 2006.

The slackline is for me a wonderful medium of physical expression and the harmonious state, a symbol of the work on my own boundaries and a nice opportunity for me to come with people in contact."

"Through my family I've become a man who likes to spend his time outdoors.  To stray around in the nature gives me strength, balance and an open view.

The mountains are an outstanding fascination for me. Maybe because i dived into the world of rock, ice, water, green bin and immersed sky since my childhood.  Due  to the  mountain hiking a came in consequence to the climbing sport.

After my civil service i joined the mountain rescue service and the saxon climbing association in 2003. I did my first wobbly steps on a self-made slackline in 2005. Since then i spend a lot of time with no solid ground under my feet."

Slacklining for me, is living free   I-------I
